IFOP North America, a boutique full-service research agency, has opened an office in New York.

Active in over 50 countries, with offices in Paris, Shanghai, Hong Kong and now New York, IFOP (French Institute of Public Opinion) was founded in 1938 by George Stoetzel, a former Sorbonne professor, after he met George Gallup. IFOP’s two main businesses are Public Opinion polling and Market Research; the company is very active in the luxury, fashion, and beauty markets.

IFOP North America supports IFOP’s strategy to support global clients in a market of importance to fashion, luxury, and beauty marketers. IFOP NA aims to be the “haute couture” of market research for US clients with: boutique service, global reach, 80+ years of experience, bespoke research design, and exceptional quality of insights by senior experts.

"In the current digital environment, brands and marketers can be overwhelmed with data. IFOP’s research cuts through that clutter to provide timely, clear and actionable insights for clients," commented Stephanie Sandler, President, IFOP North America. Previously, Sandler built and led the Consumer Insights division at Chanel, Inc. She has 20 years of marketing experience in luxury, including Richemont and has additional experience as an IP attorney.
