Matt is the Managing Director of Cranbrook Search Consultants bringing more than 20 years of experience in research and analysis to this position. He and the team have partnered with dozens of companies (‘client-side’ and agencies) to identify, recruit, and hire professionals for a variety of roles.
Prior to forming Cranbrook Search, Matt was a Vice President of Business Development at Lieberman Research Group in New York. Matt also served as a VP of Business Development at MarketTools, Inc. in Chicago. Matt has an extensive background in the automotive industry and spent six years as a Senior Account Director at J.D. Power and Associates in Troy, Michigan. Matt previously held several assignments at General Motors, including the areas of market analysis, new product development, global market development, sales analysis and promotion/advertising effectiveness tracking. Additionally, Matt was the Cadillac Division market research manager responsible for all research and analysis for the Cadillac brand.
Matt served as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps, where he was the Aircraft Maintenance Officer for VMFA-212. In this role, Matt was responsible for the daily maintenance of 16 high performance Fighter/Attack aircraft and for supervising over 160 highly trained and motivated Marines.
Matt has a B.A. in Economics and an MBA in Marketing from Michigan State University.
