
Ronald Brunner
Ron Brunner is a Business Opportunity Specialist in the 8(a) Business Development Division, South Florida District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). The South Florida District serves more than 1 million small businesses in 24 counties south of Orlando, FL.
Ron has over 3 years of federal government service and currently holds an FAC Level 1 Contracting certification. As a Business Opportunity Specialist in the 8(a) Division, Ron ensures small business owners who are socially and economically disadvantaged are aware of the various programs offered by the Small Business Administration’s Small Business Certification programs such as the SDB, 8(a), WOSB and the HUBZone program.
Before coming to the SBA in September of 2016, Ron worked as a Service Engineer for a Small IT Company in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Prior to joining the Civilian workforce, Ron served on Active Duty for 6 years in the U.S. Army as an Infantry and Signal Officer. He continues to serve in the Army Reserve and he has 17 years of service.
Ron Brunner is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio. He received a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati in Business Information Systems.
