Following up on last year’s sold-out inaugural NEXT conference, the Insights Association has announced a call for presentations for NEXT 2018, taking place April 30-May 1, 2018 at the New York Hilton Midtown.

The first-ever NEXT event packed the house. Decision makers from across the market research and analytics spectrum were the first to hear actionable findings from groundbreaking research–on–research and case studies from Hulu, Sonos, ABInBev, Chobani, Samsung and more.

Researchers now have the opportunity to be at the podium at next year’s conference, presenting innovative work, demonstrating new technologies, or sharing perspectives on future driving forces in marketing research and analytics. Proposals on the following themes are encouraged, but all relevant content will be considered: Data Quality, Video, Respondent Experience, Compelling Storytelling, AI & Machine Learning, Gamification, Data Visualization, Balancing Automation with Engagement, Passive Measurement, Micro–Targeting, Mobile Engagement, Neuroscience, Data Fusion, Agile Qual, B2B, Dashboards, Assessing DIY Tools, CX, and much more.

There are many ways to participate:

1. Client Case Studies & Demonstrations of Innovative Technologies, Techniques & Solutions

If you have a truly innovative new tool or technique, a novel approach to solving a problem, or strong opinions on current or emerging practices, we welcome you to submit a proposal to present. A formal research paper is not required; case studies and demos are encouraged.

2. Research on Research/Analytics

We seek original contributions that will spur constructive debate and present new methodologies and techniques with commercial applications. Research Paper Required. Including: Definition of issue; effects on performance/process or quality of research; Review of published research; unanswered questions addressed; Research design; Research results; Conclusions and suggested guidelines / best practices to improve current practice. Your submission will be reviewed by industry experts.

3. Take a Swim in the Shark Tank

Pitch our panel of expert judges and compete alongside your peers.

We want to hear solutions that improve engagement with consumers and novel methods which significantly increase the quality, efficiency and impact of research. Our audience will choose the winner.

Preference will be given to submissions that not only describe "what" (how to collect data on a mobile device), but also offer insight into how it improves business outcomes. Case studies presented in collaboration with corporate end user clients are encouraged, as are projects that feature collaboration between research companies.

Presentation Proposals are due by December 1, 2017.
