Media measurement and analytics company Comscore has appointed Serge Matta as Chief Executive Officer and Manish Bhatia as Chief Revenue Officer. Matta replaces Dr. Magid Abraham, Comscore’s co-founder and current CEO, who has become Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors for the company, while the current Executive Chairman (and company co-founder), Gian Fulgoni, will become Chairman Emeritus.

Matta has been with Comscore since shortly after its inception in 1999 and has been president since 2013. Previously, he was President of Commercial Solutions, and before that, President of Comscore Mobile Solutions. He started his Comscore career in product management. Before Comscore, Matta was at MicroStrategy. Matta has a BS Finance from George Mason University and an MBA from American University.

Bhatia, in the new role of Chief Revenue Officer, will be based in New York and oversee all of Comscore’s commercial teams around the world. He previously served as Executive VP of New Product Innovation at Arbitron, and before that as President and Chief Executive Officer of Symphony Advanced Media. Bhatia also worked in various roles at Nielsen, including as President of Nielsen’s Advanced Digital Services and as President of Nielsen Online. Before its acquisition by Nielsen, he led NetRatings’ global operations and U.S. sales team. Prior to NetRatings, Bhatia rose from analyst to Senior Vice President at Nielsen. He holds an MBA in Information Systems from City University of New York and an MA and BA in Economics from Punjab University, India.
